摘要

星际介质中同位素丰度比32S/34S的测定,目前只有通过测量分子云中CS及其同位素分子的丰度确定.显然,单一示踪分子的测量结果可能存在系统性的误差,因此,需要其他硫同位素丰度比的示踪分子的测量结果.通过使用IRAM30m望远镜对一个分子云样本的32SO和34SO分子谱线进行观测,该小样本分子云的距离值准确,是通过高分辨的三角视差观测得到的.对观测谱线进行处理分析,发现有6个源同时探测到了32SO和34SO谱线.通过其32SO和34SO的谱线强度比,获得它们的同位素丰度比32S/34S.对比发现,文章的结果和之前通过CS观测得到的同位素丰度比结果能够很好地吻合,且不需要像CS分子那样做光深效应的改正,这意味着32SO分子能够很好地示踪星际介质中硫元素的丰度.后续将对大样本源开展32SO和34SO分子的观测,准确确定大样本源的同位素丰度比32S/34S,进一步验证银河星际介质中硫同位素丰度比的梯度关系.

Abstract

Todate,theusedtracerfortheisotoperatio32S/34Sintheinterstellarmedium(ISM)wasjustCSanditsrareisotope,whichmaybringsystematicerrors.Thus,othertracersfordeterminingaccurate32S/34Svaluesareneededandimportant.WeperformedIRAM30mobservationson32SOand34SOtowardasampleofmolecularcloudswithaccuratedistancevalue,whichwasobtainedfromthetrigonometricmeasurementswithhighangularresolution.Ourobservationsgotdetectionsfor6sourcesinboth32SOand34SOlines.Theisotoperatio32S/34Softhemisdeterminedfromtheir32SOand34SOlineintensities.Andthekinematictemperatureisalsoderivedforthem.Itshowsthatourresultsfrom32SOareconsistentwiththeresultsfromCSdataincludingtheopticaldepthcorrection.Thisreflectsthat32SOshouldbebettergoodtracerformeasuringisotoperatio32S/34SinISM,withoutneedingtheopacitycorrectionsasCS.Futureobservationson32SOand34SOtowardlargesamplesofmolecularcloudsareimportanttoobtainaccurateisotopeabundanceratio32S/34S,andfurtherchecktheGalacticISMradialgradientof32S/34S.
