The main content of the social interest is the position of work art to mainstream values, in particular society, to judge the value of art works, we should pay special attention to the whether social interest of its contents endanger the mainstream values. In contemporary China, art value should support core socialist values, taking core socialist values as a perspective to observe life ,lead the creation, insist on people foremost, handle the relationship between art and politics properly, and find the common area between works in history and core socialist values scientifically.
