The main reason of frequent accidents in safety production is the failure of safety & security management ( SM) . As an important safety information resource, safety & security intelligence ( SI) can provide reliable safety evidence for the implementation of SM, and then effectively improve the level of system SM. Based on the basic theory of SI, this paper analyzes the value of SI in SM, and reshapes the basic elements of SI. On this basis, the paper puts forward the SM mode from the perspective of SI, in order to reveal the SM decision making process under the role of SI; at the same time, it discusses the connotation, value significance and application prospect of security management mode. The results show that security information plays an important role in supporting and guiding the implementation of SM. At the same time, the SM mode proposed in this paper is conducive to promoting the intelligent development of SM, which is of great significance.
