Abstract
We are experiencing a posthuman social turn and a posthuman academic explosion. Among the many movements and schools of posthuman thoughts, Rosi Braidotti proposed a new discourse of″posthuman critical theory″ that seeks to strike a balance between facile euphoria and techno - pessimism. The three main genes of this theory are: first, the rejection of closed systems of thought; second, the rejection of all kinds of subjectivities ( humanism, panhumanism, transhumanism, etc. ) ; and third, the full consideration of contemporary conditions, especially the rapid changes in developed capitalism, the scientific - technological structure, and the high risks of society as a whole. On this basis, Braidotti proposes a nomadic view of the subject built on a neo - materialist monistic ontology that is Zoe – centred emphasizes embodiment, relationality, transversality, and affirmation, rejects the binary logic of identity and otherness, emphasizes the positive nature of difference, calls for a posthuman ethic based on a sense of collectivity and responsibility, and calls for the missing ″we″ to work together to become the world.
