当前关于新媒体语境下文学理论教学问题的讨论，主要从技术的层面展开，这显然没有切中要害，因为新媒体对文学的影响，决不是简单的工具、载体意义上的影响，而是直接关乎文学的根本性问题。新媒体文学乃是一种全新的文学样态，现有的文学理论已无力对新媒体文学做出有效的解释，对新媒体文学的偏见和误解反映了文学理论的深层危机。文艺学要恢复其相对于其他文学学科的“元学科”地位，就必须基于当前新媒体文学的现实，对文学进行重新定义，并建构一种历史化的、反本质主义的文学理论。

The current discussion on the teaching of literary theory in the context of new media is mainly carried out at the technical level, which has obviously missed the point, because the influence of new media on literature is by no means like that of a simple tool or carrier. Instead, it is directly related to the fundamental problem of literature. New media literature is such a brand-new literary style that the existing literary theories are unable to effectively explain it. The prejudice against and misunderstanding of new media literature reflect the deep crisis of literary theory. In order to recover the status of literature and art discipline as a "meta-discipline" relative to other literary disciplines, it is necessary to redefine literature based on the reality of current new media literature and to construct a historical and anti-essentialist literary theory.
